Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a skilled QA Executive to ensure that our raw materials, packaging, and finished products consistently meet specifications, legal requirements, and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sample testing, sensory evaluations, and review COAs before release.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies.
  • Ensure all incoming raw/packaging materials meet specifications and legal requirements.
  • Implement supplier improvement plans, audits, and maintain documentation.
  • Lead and train QA team members to enhance capability and performance.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on quality issues until resolution.
  • Manage customer complaints and ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Monitor quality KPIs and participate in HACCP, internal & external audits.
  • Oversee in-plant quality control activities, inspections, and record-keeping.
  • Support QA digitalization initiatives to strengthen quality processes.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in QA/QC within food or beverage manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with analytical and statistical lab methods
  • Understanding of food safety principles, GMP, HACCP
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills (QC 7 tools preferred)
  • Good communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams
