We are looking for a skilled QA Executive to ensure that our raw materials, packaging, and finished products consistently meet specifications, legal requirements, and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sample testing, sensory evaluations, and review COAs before release.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies.
- Ensure all incoming raw/packaging materials meet specifications and legal requirements.
- Implement supplier improvement plans, audits, and maintain documentation.
- Lead and train QA team members to enhance capability and performance.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on quality issues until resolution.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure effective corrective actions.
- Monitor quality KPIs and participate in HACCP, internal & external audits.
- Oversee in-plant quality control activities, inspections, and record-keeping.
- Support QA digitalization initiatives to strengthen quality processes.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in QA/QC within food or beverage manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with analytical and statistical lab methods
- Understanding of food safety principles, GMP, HACCP
- Problem-solving and analytical skills (QC 7 tools preferred)
- Good communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams
