Job summary

Veeco is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support both Supplier Quality Engineering and Product Quality Engineering at its Penang, Malaysia site. You will lead structured problem solving, supplier qualification, and development, and drive end-to-end improvements across complex electromechanical systems used in semiconductor manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
5+ years of relevant experience in Supplier Quality/ Product Quality or related field preferred.
Certification in CSQP/CQE/CMQ/OE or Six Sigma is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier quality improvement plans and audits; drive corrective actions and report metrics.
Lead cross-functional teams to contain, investigate, and resolve quality issues in complex electromechanical systems.
Perform root cause analyses using 8D, 5-Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, CAPA and other tools.
Maintain and report KPIs and quality dashboards aligned with program and site objectives.
Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and drive corrective actions.
