Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (with occasional travel to Thailand)
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to support and enforce top-tier quality standards in the manufacturing of stamping tools and stamped components/assemblies at our satellite factories in Southeast Asia. This role is vital in ensuring the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and reliability across our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on product and process nonconformance, daily quality performance, root cause analyses, and overall quality trends.
- Conduct training sessions for supplier teams on best practices, ensuring alignment with high-quality standards.
- Resolve production and manufacturing challenges efficiently to minimize delays and optimize output.
- Manage or support the full tool build lifecycle — including sourcing, quoting, CNC machining, assembly, trial, and approval — while maintaining schedule adherence.
- Drive proactive supplier management and engagement to support timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Evaluate and enhance stamping tool designs to ensure robust and repeatable production processes.
- Identify and rapidly validate new quality and cost improvement concepts to maintain production excellence.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to engineering and production teams across partner sites in Malaysia and Thailand.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in a Quality Control or Assurance role within the manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards, testing methods, and root cause analysis.
- Strong decision-making, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in supplier relationship management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to lead and train teams at all levels — from factory floor to senior management.
- Highly proficient in English (spoken and written); capable of writing business correspondence, proposals, and reports.
- Familiarity with software such as AutoForm, UG, CATIA, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of quality systems such as TS 16949, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AEC-Q100/200, and ANSI standards.

Experience & Education:
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality-focused role within the automotive, aerospace, or other precision manufacturing industries.
