Job Description:

• Responsible for planning and managing the QA Team.
• Plan and supervise the QA/QC team on daily inspection at Incoming Quality Control, Process Quality Control, and Final Quality Control.
• Accomplishes quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures to meet the company’s Quality Objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Food Act, other related Acts, regulations, and standards, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all ISO standards of the Company including but not limited to, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, and GMP.
• Conduct internal audits, supplier audits, and any other audit activities as defined in the QMS.
• Participate in customer audits and follow up on corrective or preventive actions.
• Responsible for the inspection and handling of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products and disposition of defective and reject products.
• Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, and compliance audits.
• Review, develop, and maintain a systematic approach for SOPs, records, and product specifications to enhance quality efficiency and performance at the plant.
• Train and motivate employees to ensure that quality standards are met.
• Cooperate with different departments to improve business operations.
• Assist in the recruiting process.
• Perform other related job duties and projects assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements:

• Required languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Candidate must possess at least a Certificate in Diploma/Advance/Higher, or a bachelor's degree in chemistry/food science/food technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years proven working experience in a similar capacity in the manufacturing sector, preferably in the food industry.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP, and Halal Standards.
• Good leadership, strong interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to express ideas clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Required Skill(s): Computer Literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Salary Range:

• From RM4800 to RM7800
