Job description

1. Work as a team to ensure that the goals of department and the company are achieved.

2.Coordinate and oversee daily inspection and testing activities.

3.Review and update QMS & FSMS document as per Management System requirement i.e legible and identifiable for easy accessibility / evaluating, controlling and updating documents.

4. Plan, schedule and coordinate internal audit in compliance to QMS & FSMS requirement.

5. Recommend, coordinate and review the GMP programs.

6. Organize/ plan the annual quality program and training activities for the production personnel.

7. Investigate and report on customer complaints and quality non- conformances.

8. Coordinate and review the shelf-life study for all products.

9. Monitor and keep record of calibration status of measuring equipment to ensure it is calibrated and controlled.

10. Monitor and motivate staff performance and develop or upgrade their skills/knowledge.

11. Carry out data analysis and come out with monthly report.

12. Ensure external lab test are well arranged and carried out according to the schedule.

13. Responsible for certificate of analysis (COA) preparation and verification before release shipment.

14. Initiate the productivity and product quality improvement projects together with other departments.

15. Improve accuracy and precision of test methods by on-going investigation.

16. Adhere the quality objective, policies, processes, standard and ensure compliance is maintained to company QMS (Quality Management System).

17. Liaison and work with suppliers to resolve raw and packaging materials quality related issues.

18. Issue and monitor of SCAR and CAR.

19. Perform any other duty assigned to meet the department and company goals and objectives.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent.

Min 3 - 5 years related working experience in food industry.

Possess good analytical and planning skills.

Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all level of staff.

Proactive and excellent analytical and problem solving skill and able to work effectively.

Trustworthy and ability to manage confidential data.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good Knowledge of ISO, HACCP and GMP requirements
