Quality System & Documentation
Assist in developing, maintaining, and controlling quality assurance (QA) documentation to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and future ISO standards to be implemented.
Draft procedures, work instructions, and quality reports in alignment with company and regulatory requirements.
Collect, analyze and report quality data to support continuous improvement and reporting needs.
Ensure documentation is up to date, complete, and audit ready.
Assist in promoting EHS compliance in alignment with internal policies and ISO14001.
Support routine EHS inspections and track related performance indicators.
Maintain EHS documentation and incident reporting logs.
Assist in EHS training initiatives and corrective actions.
Encourage a safe working environment by supporting training initiatives and corrective actions related to EHS concerns.
Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) Support
Assist in the management of supplier quality through evaluations, audits, and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Collaborate with suppliers to support compliance with company and customer quality standards.
Participate in supplier selection, qualification, and performance monitoring.
Maintain supplier quality metrics and contribute to improvement initiatives.
Support cross-functional teams in resolving supplier-related quality issues and improving overall supply chain quality.
Audit Activities:
Support internal quality audits and assist in scheduling, documentation review, and reporting findings.
Participate in external audits by customers and certification bodies.
Coordinate collection and organization of audit evidence and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.
Participate in problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, RCA) to support corrective action implementation.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by assisting in supplier quality inputs and documentation.
Ensure alignment with company policies and EHS standards during cross-functional projects.
Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in quality roles, preferably within an electronic manufacturing services (EMS) industry.
Basic understanding with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO9001 & ISO14001 and awareness of EHS regulations and practices.
Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies, such as 8D problem-solving, 5 Whys, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis (RCA).
Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and audit procedures is an added advantage.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn with strong organizational and documentation skills.
Able to travel when required (e.g., for supplier audits or support).
