About the role
As a Software Quality Analyst I/ II (SQA I/ II), you will ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will design and execute Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test cases using Gherkin syntax, maintain test automation scripts, and perform thorough front-end and back-end testing. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, you’ll provide actionable insights on testability and usability. With a sharp eye for detail, strong debugging skills, and a passion for quality, you’ll help deliver exceptional digital experiences to our users.
Key responsibilities:
Lead quality assurance efforts for assigned projects.
Design and document test cases in BDD format (Gherkin syntax).
Execute test cases for front-end (web and mobile) and back-end systems.
Maintain and execute test automation scripts and frameworks.
Log and track testing activities using test management tools.
Collaborate with product and development teams to provide feedback on testability, usability, and functionality.
Develop detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing tasks within an agile framework.
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts to improve testing efficiency.
Investigate defects, create comprehensive bug reports, and verify fixes.
Participate actively in agile ceremonies and development processes.
Key Qualifications:
QA I: 1-4 years of experience in quality assurance for mobile and/or web applications.
QA II: 3-7 years of experience in quality assurance for mobile and/or web applications.
Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies.
Proficiency in designing and writing test cases in Gherkin (BDD) format.
Experience in end-to-end testing of mobile and/or web applications.
Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., browser developer tools, log analysis) is a plus.
Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with services/API testing (e.g., Postman, REST assured).
A proactive attitude with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
Basic experience or exposure to load, stress, or security testing is a plus.
Strong English communication skills, with the ability to present sprint demos effectively.
