Job Description

The Quality Analyst is responsible for performing quality checks on received and produced goods to ensure products meet required specifications. Provides input to warehouse teams on goods to be released for production, customer shipment, or returned for rework or scrap. Offers guidelines for reworking non-conforming products.

Responsibilities/Key Activities:
  • Ensure ingredients maintain valid Halal certificates from suppliers and uphold plant Halal practices.
  • Conduct periodic Halal Committee meetings and checks at the shopfloor and facilities.
  • Coordinate with Jabatan Agama Islam for Halal renewal and consultation.
  • Renew Halal certificates timely and support NPD and ingredient substitution certifications.
  • Support customer Halal requirements.
  • Review compliance of new products and ingredients with specifications periodically.
  • Audit quality checks performed by Production.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are innovative and eager to learn. Requirements include:

  • University Degree (Bachelors) or higher in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of quality and food safety standards (ISO, FSSC 22000, IFS, HACCP, GMP).
  • Ability to apply statistical tools and problem-solving skills with high accuracy.
  • Service-oriented, discreet, proactive, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in teams.
