Job summary

A leading company in the precast industry is seeking a Quantity Surveying Executive to join their team. The role involves preparing project cost estimations, contracts, and managing project timelines, while ensuring adherence to quality standards. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year working experience in Construction or related field.
• Able to communicate fluently in English and Malay.
• Experience in Precast industry will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project cost estimation and budget.
• Negotiate with contractors/suppliers on material cost.
• Attend site meetings and quality checks.

Job description

Prepare project cost estimation and budget.

Taking off.

Prepare contracts, tender documents, progress claim and other documentation.

Negotiates with contractors/suppliers on material cost.

Liaising with project manager and subcontractors to develop accurate cost estimates and ensure the project follows to the timeline.

Evaluate bids or proposals from contractors and suppliers.

Assist in contract preparations, project estimates, and controlling costs.

Assist with monitoring and managing administration of contracts.

Attend site meetings, on-site BQ verifications and quality checks.

Dealing with SAP system.

Assist in ad-hoc task.

Requirement:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Minimum 1 years’ working experience in Construction or related field.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Project Management

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to communicate fluently in English and Malay.

Able to work independently and in a team.

Detail-oriented with accurate measurement and calculation skills.

Experience in Precast industry will be an advantage.
