  • Tasks could be challenging in nature where considerable judgment and initiatives are required in resolving and/or making recommendations.
  • Situations which are not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods may be referred to an immediate manager or experts within site or global organization for guidance.
  • Shall provide functional guidance to others performing similar work related to audits, documentation, calibration etc. Shall be considered the expert in areas assigned.
  • Builds internal and external relationships that require exchanging information and providing guidance in a problem-solving capacity.
  • Well worse with Microsoft Office, comfortable with communicating and presentation at all levels.

Job Responsibilities
  • Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Planning, organizing, driving the implementation and ensuring continued compliance to Quality Management System based on international standards eg. ISO 9001, AS 9100, TL9000, NADCAP AC7120, NADCAP AC7121, FAR 145 and ANSI ESD S20.20 standards or other systems adopted by Celestica. For this, preferably the incumbent well versed with most of the related standards or a fast learner to adapt and execute.
  • Be the subject matter expert for the Quality Management Systems and Compliance programs where incumbent shall provide certification & regulatory guidance to various internal project as necessary.
  • Continue to develop and enhance current regulatory knowledge to support surveillance activities.
  • Accountable for the effectiveness of the Quality Systems and Compliance programs by working collaboratively with all related stakeholders to ensure procedure, processes, controls and systems are adopted and complied religiously.
  • Ensure timely and comprehensive closure of quality system issues/findings.
  • Liaise with external certification & regulatory bodies on certification/compliance programs. Incumbent will be dealing directly on reviewing & negotiating quotes, reviewing contracts and agreements, scheduling, reviewing of auditors, uploading of pre- audit documents, informing relevant bodies on crucial changes by raising related templates, communicating on getting the certificates before expiry upon audit completion & closure of audit reports amongst others.
  • Coordinate and organize internal quality audits based on existing quality systems. Ensure only trained auditors are used for this purpose, hence the need to work with the Training department on qualified/certified trainers to be engaged & developing syllabus/course contents to be used.
  • Lead department activities within the Quality Systems function such as Document and Data Control, Records Management, Management Review, Auditing, CGP, ESD & Calibration.
  • Establish, maintain and report Quality System Audits & monthly Audit Ready assessment metrics to site management and global QMS respectively.
  • Responsible for writing, reviewing and at times approving procedures in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide direct support on annual budget planning for the overall Quality department and manage expenses related to QMS for the Quality System department.
  • Resource planning, coaching and development of the required knowledge, skills and competency.
