Job Summary:

The QMS Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulatory requirements. This role ensures the continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and systems to maintain high standards of quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, and maintain QMS policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
• Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits.
• Identify non-conformities, initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and monitor their effectiveness.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve quality processes and ensure compliance across departments.
• Maintain document control system, ensuring timely updates and distribution of controlled documents.
• Train and educate staff on QMS requirements, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze quality data, generate reports, and present findings to management with recommendations.
• Support supplier quality audits and evaluations as needed.
• Lead quality improvement projects using tools such as FMEA, RCA, 5 Whys, and PDCA.
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, standards, and statutory regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar QMS or QA/QC role.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and quality methodologies.
• Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 (additional certifications are an advantage).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QMS software tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred:

• Experience in manufacturing, electronics, automotive industry.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
