A leading manufacturing company is seeking a QMS Assistant Engineer to enhance their Quality Management System. The successful candidate will manage audits, drive compliance with ISO standards, and lead quality improvement initiatives across operations. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, along with 3-5 years of QMS experience, particularly in manufacturing environments.

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in precision plastic components and multi-material injection molding. Based in Penang, they serve global markets across the medical, automotive, and consumer product industries.
Develop, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, customer, regulatory).
Lead non-conformance investigations and ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor and analyze quality KPIs and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Facilitate Management Reviews, quality planning, risk assessments, and document control processes.
Work cross-functionally to support product quality, process validation, and compliance initiatives.
Maintain QMS documentation, such as procedures, work instructions, forms, and records, ensuring version control and accessibility.
Provide training to staff on quality-related processes, regulatory compliance, and QMS awareness.
Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma projects.
Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and regulatory standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001
Experience with audit processes, CAPA management, and document control systems.
Proficient in problem-solving tools such as 8D, FMEA, root cause analysis, and statistical process control (SPC).
Familiarity with quality tools such as Minitab, QMS software, or ERP integration is advantageous.
