Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct quality checks on filled and empty LPG cylinders before release, including leak tests, weight verification, and appearance inspection.
  2. Verify requalified cylinders meet MS830 and company standards, including checks on paint, valve tightness, and proper stamping.
  3. Inspect the paint quality of repainted cylinders to ensure contractor compliance.
  4. Record and verify leaky cylinders returned by dealers and coordinate further action based on inspection results.
  5. Perform 10% quality checks on new cylinders and valves, and maintain monthly records.
  6. Manage and control inventory of consumables such as valves, O-rings, collar tags, and cap seals.
  7. Inspect damaged cylinders/valves to determine scrappage and ensure safe decanting procedures.
  8. Prepare monthly summary reports on returned cylinder trends and provide daily updates on cylinder conditions.
  9. Participate actively in fire drills, safety programs, and 5S initiatives.
  10. Carry out additional duties as directed by the Terminal Management team.

Requirements:

  • SPM, Technical Certificate, or Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in terminal operations.
  • Basic knowledge of LPG cylinder specifications and inspection procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety, health, and quality control practices.
  • Willingness to work in a terminal environment and perform hands-on technical tasks.
