This role is primarily responsible for the overall quality control and assurance within the production process.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods.

· Manage and coordinate customer feedback or complaints and ensure that corrective actions are initiated, effectively implemented and sustained in Production.

· Oversee laboratory testing procedures, equipment calibration, and routine maintenance.

· Ensure proper documentation, control of records, maintain effective filing systems to ensure records are available at all times.

· Provide technical training for new lab technicians on equipment usage, testing protocols, lab safety, and housekeeping practices.

· Maintain and support the effectiveness of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

· Organize and lead weekly QC/QA meetings, including preparation of meeting minutes.

· Participate as a member of the Safety Committee to promote and monitor plant safety.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred. Candidates with a tertiary qualification in Chemistry or Engineering, along with relevant laboratory experience, are also encouraged to apply.

1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System is an advantage.

Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

Ability to work independently, with good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.

Willingness to travel locally and overseas as required.

Flexibility to work on weekends or public holidays when necessary.
