Job summary

Fengshi Metal Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.

• Experience in QC/inspection in precision metal fabrication, stamping, machining, or assembly.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards is an advantage.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job description

Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.

Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.

Conduct sampling and testing according to established QC plans.

Record inspection results accurately and maintain QC documentation.

Prepare inspection reports and highlight non-conformances.

Ensure traceability of inspection records.

Identify, document, and segregate defective or non-conforming products.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA).

Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Suggest improvements to prevent recurrence of quality issues.

Participate in internal audits and quality review meetings.

Ensure inspections comply with customer requirements and company quality standards.

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.

Experience in QC/inspection in precision metal fabrication, stamping, machining, or assembly.

Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 is an advantage.

Proficient in using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
