Job description

Asphalt Technology has been established since 1989, located in Telok Gong, Port Klang and mainly manufactures Bitumen-based Products for the infrastructure industry.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a QC and QA Laboratory Assistant.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Quality Control and Laboratory Skills preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow procedures and protocols.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine quality control tests at different stages of production and finished products.
• Be familiar with all the Standard Testing Methods as spelt out in the Testing Procedures And Work Instruction.
• Record and file all test reports.
• Monitor all incoming raw materials with regard to their compliance with company's requirements.
• To carry out action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to products, process, and quality system.
• Other duties as instructed by the Quality Control Manager.
