Job description

Role Summary:

The Group QA/QC Manager is responsible for overseeing Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring all products—especially inorganic chemicals—are consistently produced to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

System Development:

  • Design, implement, and manage QA/QC systems and procedures across all plants.

Standards Compliance:

  • Set and enforce quality control standards aligned with industry regulations and internal requirements.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all products meet the company’s quality, safety, and efficiency targets.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and train QA/QC personnel across different sites.

Performance Management:

  • Conduct evaluations and guide the development of QA/QC team members.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for quality and process improvements and drive implementation.

Problem Solving:

  • Perform root cause analyses and introduce corrective actions to resolve product or process issues.

Industry Awareness:

  • Stay current with evolving quality standards, technologies, and best practices to enhance QA processes.

Inspection & Testing:

  • Oversee inspection, testing, and validation processes to ensure compliance with specifications.

Audit Coordination:

  • Coordinate and support external audits and ensure readiness for on-site inspections.

Certification Management:

  • Maintain ISO 9001 or similar quality certifications and ensure ongoing compliance.

Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed quality reports covering performance metrics, compliance, and improvement areas.

Documentation:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of QA activities, including SOPs, manuals, and protocols

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing quality functions across multiple plants or locations.

Standards & Certifications

  • Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality systems.
  • Professional certifications such as CQE, CQM, or similar are beneficial.

  • Strong team leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Skilled in using quality management systems and software tools.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Effective at handling multiple tasks and thriving in high-paced environments.
