A leading company in power transmission and distribution is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for its Sarawak projects. The role requires a degree in Engineering and experience in QA/QC activities. Candidates will manage site actions, support project management, and ensure safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering required, preferably Electrical or Civil.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in QA/QC.
• ISO 9001:2015 training attended.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project QA and QC on site activities.
• Assist Project/Construction Manager in project management.
• Support necessary tasks for the Works.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Sarawak. This is a contract role working on exciting power transmission and distribution projects for SHANGHAI ELECTRIC POWER T&D (M) SDN. BHD.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for project QA and QC on site activities;
• Assisting Project/Construction Manager on project management and coordination;
• Assisting Project/Construction Manager on other tasks necessary for the Works.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering/ Civil Engineering.
• At least 2 years’ experience of leading QA/QC related scope of work.
• Knowledge in Completion Management System (CMS) is an added advantage.
• Familiar with the hazards and safety requirements for work site.
• Attended ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and Internal Audit training.
