About the role

STRIVE FORCE EQUIPMENT & ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a highly skilled QAQC Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QAQC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our construction projects in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative and forward-thinking organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and quality control inspection and test plan (ITP)
2. Conducting regular inspections and testing of construction materials, processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications
3. Identifying and resolving quality-related issues in a timely manner
4. Documenting and reporting on quality assurance and control activities
5. Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to address quality concerns

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a QAQC Engineer in the construction industry
• Proven track record of implementing effective quality assurance and control systems
• Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in the use of quality control software and tools
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety protocols
• Preferably with valid CIDB, OGSP competency.
