Job description

Job Responsibility

  • To ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, reliability prior to delivery. Monitor the daily inspection at Incoming Quality Control, Process Quality Control or Final Quality Control and Maintain and update quality control records.
  • Conduct production and quality tests on products like Dried Sea Cucumber, Bird Nest, Fish Maw, Nangka, Teh Misai Kucing and others, following company standards.
  • Conduct tests and inspections on raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for compliance.
  • Ensure all food products meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Train and supervise quality control staff and monitor production and records.
  • Notify the Superior immediately for any non-conformance (NC) or failed results observed.
  • Ensure maintenance and sanitation of the facility follows food safety requirements.
  • To ensure good working environment and safety guidelines are followed at all time.
  • To Monitor storage temperature and humidity monitoring.
  • Ensure equipment stays accurate by following calibration rules and reporting issues.
  • Critical Control Point checking (CCP), verification and implementation.
  • Make decisions concerning product quality, including shutting down line when processes do not conform to specification.
  • Support production hygiene and safety by managing chemical control and cleaning (CIP), monitoring pest control, ensuring product traceability, assisting team members as needed, and performing other tasks assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Studies, or a related field.
  • 1â2 years of working experience in a relevant role within the food industry.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • 5-day work week.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
