Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA testers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Conduct performance reviews, 1:1 feedback sessions, and skill-development plans.
- Optimize resource allocation to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
- Develop end-to-end test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Design risk-based testing strategies to catch critical issues early in the SDLC.
- Implement shift-left testing to reduce defects in production.
Test Execution & Automation
- Oversee manual and automated testing (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG) for web/mobile apps and games.
- Track defects using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Metersphere, ClickUp) and prioritize fixes with developers.
- Partner with Dev, Project, and Design teams to align testing with business goals.
- Bridge communication gaps between stakeholders to resolve critical bugs swiftly.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Deliver clear test dashboards/reports highlighting coverage, defects, and release readiness.
- Maintain a knowledge base of QA best practices and lessons learned.
- Drive adoption of new QA tools/frameworks to boost efficiency (e.g., CI/CD integration).
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s in CS/IT or 5+ years of QA experience (web/mobile/games testing).
- 2+ years leading QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Expertise in bug tracking tools (Jira, Metersphere, ClickUp, Postman).
- Performance testing skills (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
