Job summary

A leading molded fiber packaging manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer. Job description

We are one of the major molded fiber packaging manufacturers in Malaysia. Our company has established for more than a decade involving in manufacturing of paper pulp molding packaging products mainly for eggs that has intensity and elasticity, which can reduce transportation cost.

Responsibilities
  • To ensure all Quality Assurance (QC) functions are being performed and documented in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • To ensure new product/process and changes are transferred to production.
  • Support the implementation of quality improvement programs.
  • Maintain and promote quality culture through training and development of QC and Production employees.
  • Directing the daily activities of Quality Control Inspection.
  • Responsible for shift/work scheduling, delegation of duties & disciplinary actions of QC Inspectors.
  • To maintain Quality Records as required in QMS.
  • Implement quality procedures to ensure proper documentation and compliance with ISO Standards.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably paper packaging, printing, or FMCG packaging).
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, statistical process control (SPC), and ISO standards.
  • Hands-on experience with quality tools (e.g., 7 QC tools, FMEA, control plans).
  • Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP/MES systems is an added advantage.
