Job Responsibility

• Conduct routine mechanical strength testing using a Universal Testing Machine (UTM) to evaluate material and product performance according to defined specifications.
• Perform visual inspections and dimensional measurements to ensure compliance with technical drawings and tolerances.
• Carry out various physical and functional tests based on product type and standard requirements (e.g., ASTM, IEC) â either performed in-house or coordinated with third-party laboratories.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate testing and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Record and analyze test results, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to relevant teams.
• Support investigations into product non-conformities by identifying root causes and contributing to corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and improvement of test procedures.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 yearsâ experience in a QA/QC or quality testing role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in performing mechanical strength tests using UTM.
• Understanding of technical drawings and tolerancing (GD&T knowledge is a plus).
• Proficiency in using standard inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes.
• Familiarity with international testing standards (e.g., ASTM, IEC).
• Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong attention to detail, good analytical thinking, and clear communication skills.
