About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Manager to join our dynamic team at Power Steel & Electro-Plating Works Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a full-time QA/QC Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and products.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and control systems to meet industry standards and customer requirements
• Overseeing all quality-related activities, including inspection, testing, and process monitoring
• Analysing quality data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and optimise manufacturing processes
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies
• Providing training and mentoring to quality assurance personnel
• Preparing detailed quality reports and presenting findings to management

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a QA/QC management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and techniques
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying industry standards and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with statistical process control, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies
