Job description

Job Responsibility

• Perform QA / QC work by conducting various quality control inspections in accordance to various quality assurance procedures.
• Monitor & ensure subcontractors, fabricators and suppliers comply to and meet the requirements of quality procedures.
• Planning, organizing and conducting quality control inspections of receiving incoming raw materials and parts/components.
• Conduct and monitor IT-Up Inspections, Visual / Welding Inspections, Dimensional Inspections, various Non-Destructive Tests, PWHT, Hydrostatic Pressure Tests, and various other QC activities as required by the projects.
• Define Corrective Action Request in responding to customer complaints.
• Assist QA & QC Manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) and Quality Control Program (ASME U/U2/S).
• Support the QA & QC Manager to ensure that products and processes comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) and Quality Control Program (ASME U/U2).

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM with credits in Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mathematics.
• Candidates with CSWIP/AWS certification are preferred. Candidates with a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent would have an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years related working experience in fabrication/welding work. Knowledge of industrial process plant and equipment fabrication and installation would be an added advantage.
• Familiar with relevant codes e.g. ASME, ISO 9001:2015, API etc.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin will be added as advantage.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to travel in Malaysia and Abroad
