Job summary

Halliburton in Senai, Johor is seeking a quality inspector to perform incoming, in-process and final inspections against engineering drawings and specifications. You will generate inspection reports and notify QA/QC management of significant issues while ensuring quality and reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of experience; 3-5 years in quality or industry is preferred.

Qualifications

Job Duties

• Under direct supervision, responsible for performing quality evaluations on standard and routine processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions
• Performs inspection of various operations activities
• Identifies and reports non- conformance to known standards using various measuring and testing methods
• May perform final adjustments
• Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifies operations and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of significant problems, completes documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities
• Assures that all products and processes represent the desired quality, safety, efficiency and reliability levels
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Review quality documentation and material certifications.
• Maintain inspection records and quality reports
• Completion of a high school diploma or GED and a minimum 1 years of experience is required
• 3-5 years experience which includes Quality and/or Industry experience is preferred
• Familiar with API standards and ISO 9001 : 2015 requirements
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of QMS systems is an added advantage.
• Able to work in shift rotation
