Role: QA/QC Inspector (E&I)

Main Duties
- Responsible for verification of isometric drawing with respect to P&ID;
- Reviewing the approved quality plans and perform the required inspection.
- Review the ITP, PQP/ Test Packages, line check and punch listing, Witnessing the hydro testing, Witness air blowing, hydro test, service test, pneumatic test and flushing; control of Non-Conformities; coordinating with client/consultants.
- Preparing and maintaining various QA/QC documents and final test packages, including coordination of work between client and contractor, inspections of contractors daily/weekly site activity reports.
- Check joint before welding and after welding.
- Witness alignment, orientation, and dimensions of installed structural works; ensure all joints are welding according to specification and approved SOP.
- Duties include coordination of work between client and contractor, Mock Up inspections and preparation of weekly site activity reports.
- Review the QCD-MCCD for final Doc.
- Provide daily supervisory surveillance checks and records, ensuring that contractors’ management and supervision provide safe working conditions and permitting procedures.
- Perform piping line checking and review test packages.
- Remain familiar with current practices and engineering trends within the industry and remain technically competent.
- Scheduling and coordination of all vendor and contractor services, including cleanroom systems.
- Inspect materials delivered to site, site installation and welding work.
- Developing and determining all standards to perform inspections and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods; maintain high standards of quality for all processes related to construction for The Client.
- Promote safe working practices and protect the health and well-being of employees, subcontractors and customers.
- Undertake the assigned work scope in a professional and responsible manner.
- Protect the interest of the company.
- Fully aware of scope of work and the obligations of The Client.
- Ad hoc duties as determined by management.
- Use / Maintain the Knowledge Centre; peer review tender or design documents.
- Continuously update profile on career compass.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
- Diploma holders with additional 2 – 3 years’ experience unless equated with professional certifications
- 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
- 1 – 2 years additional experience for each higher grade of progression
