Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in food manufacturing sector.
• Well-versed with Food Safety Management Systems.
• Hands-on experience in HACCP and GMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities in the Quality Control department.
• Ensure QC records maintenance and closure of product non-conformities.
• Handle customer complaints and propose corrective actions.

Job description

Job Responsibility

• Participates in the development and maintenance of HACCP, GMP, MeSTI, Halal and Quality Control programs.
• To oversee and monitor all the activities in Quality control department.
• To ensure daily procedures, ensuring all incoming and outgoing finished products are inspected according to QC checklist prior to final delivery and shipment.
• To maintain QC records and ensure closure of all processes and product non-conformities detected in non-conformance reports.
• Ensure proper maintenance and updating of quality control requirements.
• Set up and maintain documentation & control of records.
• Handling customer complaint, investigation and proposal of corrective actions.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Food technology/ Food Science or related course.
• Candidates must have minimum 2 years experience in food manufacturing sector.
• Well-versed with Food Safety Management Systems and other food related regulations in Malaysia.
• Candidates with hands on experience in Food Safety Systems (eg: HACCP and GMP) will have an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and independent.
