We are seeking a responsible and detail‑oriented Quality Control (QC) Staff to join our production team, which focuses on the manufacturing of Japanese‑style food, including mochi, cakes, and other confectionery products. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet strict food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on raw materials, in‑process items, and finished goods.
- Ensure production complies with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP standards.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of production areas, tools, and equipment.
- Identify and report quality issues or non‑conformities; assist with corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and update quality control records and documentation.
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure sufficient supply for production.
- Assist in stock checks and inventory tracking to ensure accuracy and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with the production and warehouse teams on material usage and stock movement.
- Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure finished products meet company and regulatory quality standards (taste, texture, packaging, shelf life).
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Experience in quality control or the food industry is an advantage.
- Valid Typhoid vaccination certificate is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices (GMP, HACCP).
- High attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced food production environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report preparation.
