We're seeking a proactive QA/QC Executive to enhance our quality assurance and control processes for projects. You'll play a key role in handling documentation, deploying the Quality Management System (QMS), and guaranteeing adherence to project designs, ISO 9001:2015 standards, and client visions for stunning, functional spaces.
Core Duties
- Create, update, and oversee QA/QC documents such as Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Approval Submissions, Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Systematically organize and archive quality-related files, ensuring they're indexed and accessible for audits, design reviews, or project milestones.
- Organize and conduct daily QAQC inspections and documentations in accordance to company’s QMS procedure and processes and also those of the client and consultant
- Track and manage QAQC documentation to facilitate timely submissions to consultants, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Support the QA/QC Manager in generating quality reports, maintaining records, and following up on corrective or preventive actions to uphold interior design integrity.
- Assist on-site teams in aligning documentation with project blueprints, aesthetic standards, and compliance requirements for fit-out elements like fixtures, furnishings, and spatial layouts.
- Collaborate with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams on all QA/QC documentation for seamless interior project delivery.
- Assist with preparing and compiling handover packages, including Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, as-built drawings, and finishing schedules.
- Deploy and sustain the company's QMS in accordance with ISO 9001, tailored to the precision demands of interior fit-out work.
- Prepare for and participate in internal and external inspections and audits (including client-led ones), ensuring swift resolution of any findings to maintain top-tier quality.
- Promote ongoing compliance with ISO standards, company quality frameworks, and specific QA/QC plans for interior projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- CIDB Qlassic Assessor certification or equivalent would be an added advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the interior fit-out or construction sector.
- In-depth knowledge of QA/QC practices for construction and or interior fit-out, including documentation, material inspections, and QMS application in design-driven environments.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and audit procedures, ideally in client-focused fit-out projects is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, essential for collaborating with technical stakeholders.
