About the role

As a QA/QC Executive at Morris Food Industries Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained across our manufacturing operations. This full-time position is based in Alor Setar, Kedah and will involve overseeing all quality assurance and quality control processes to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing and monitoring quality control systems and procedures
• Conducting regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products
• Analysing quality data and generating detailed reports to identify and resolve issues
• Collaborating with production teams to investigate and address any quality-related complaints or non-conformances
• Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and quality standards, and ensuring compliance
• Participating in the continuous improvement of quality systems and processes

What we're looking for

Qualifications: Degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance or a related technical discipline

Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the manufacturing industry

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively, and good communication and reporting skills

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of quality control principles, food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g. ISO, HACCP)
