Job summary

VS Industry Bhd in Senai, Johor seeks a Quality Assurance/Quality Control engineer with a Mechanical Engineering degree and hands-on CMM experience. You will monitor material quality issues, conduct root cause analyses, and coordinate with suppliers and internal QC teams.

You will drive continuous improvement with vendors, perform monthly data analyses, and ensure initial inspection checklists and sample approvals are completed before mass production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably 1 year of QA/QC experience in injection moulding.
• Hands-on experience with CMM measurement and programming.
• Willing to work in Senai, Johor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production material quality issues and provide feedback to suppliers.
• Follow up on customer feedback regarding component failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Conduct vendor quality system audits as required.
• Ensure initial inspection checklists, sample approvals, and related equipment are completed before mass production.
• Communicate with PQA, internal QC teams, and production personnel on part quality issues.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors on all quality-related matters.
• Perform monthly data analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives with vendors.
