Overview

The QA & QC Engineer is required to work actively at the project site and attend daily construction activities, including outdoor work under the sun. This role is not limited to site office-based documentation; the engineer must be willing to carry out site inspections and responsibilities directly at the field.

Accountable for the quality and workmanship of site activity, with good knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to architectural and structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary processes.

Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods, maintaining high standards of quality for all processes.
• Review quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality; collaborate with the department for material procurement and maintain material quality.
• Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
• Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge of quality assurance standards; monitor continuous application of QA processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and site in-charge for inspection.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as a QA & QC Engineer/Site Engineer in the construction industry. Experience in commercial buildings, data centers, or semiconductor projects is an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project (mandatory).
• Willingness to work at project sites nationwide; accommodation provided by the company.
• Official working hours are from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Willingness to work beyond regular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• 12-month contract duration with potential for extension or renewal.
• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
