Role

Quality Control and Operation – You will be expected to monitor the overall quality and safety of the operation from receiving to delivery and recommend corrective actions in case of non-compliance, including setting up necessary systems to achieve this.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and sample materials, parts, or products for defects and any deviations from specifications.
• Observe the production operations and equipment to ensure that specifications are being met and make or order necessary adjustments to processes.
• Discuss results and findings with those in charge of the products and recommend any required corrective actions.
• Perform routine sampling and check the quality of incoming raw materials and end products.
• Assist in internal, external and regulatory audits.
• Ensure investigation is appropriately conducted with robust analysis, documentation of root causes, and identification of potential risks to fieldwork quality.
• Ensure appropriate remediation to address the root cause and proactively prevent similar issues from occurring.
• Update, revise and maintain the Laboratory’s Quality Assurance Manual, SOPs, and other quality documents.
• Maintain complete documentation for assay tracking and results for review/reporting.
• Perform internal audits of the Laboratory, including both technical and quality systems audits.
• Perform and document corrective action, including follow-up monitoring to gauge the effectiveness of the corrective action.
• Maintain the Laboratory’s Quality System.
• Prepare monthly quality review reports and present findings to management.
• Monitor the whole manufacturing process from inspection of raw materials, ensuring the compliance of manufacturing controls, to checking and release of finished products.
