Job summary

MESLA WIRE & CABLE SDN. BHD. is seeking a QA/QC assistant to maintain and update quality documents and records. You will perform in-process and final inspections, coordinate with production teams on quality issues, and support customer and internal audits.

The role requires 2–3 years in QA/QC, strong reporting skills, and fluency in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin. Working hours are standard weekdays with Saturday half-day, and performance/attendance bonuses are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years in QA/QC.
• Able to prepare quality reports and maintain documentation.
• Languages: English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and updating quality management system documents (ISO 9001 and related standards).
• Prepare and organize quality records, including incoming material inspection reports, in-process inspection records, and finished cable test reports.
• Conduct in-process inspections during production (e.g., conductor diameter, insulation thickness, sheath thickness).
• Coordinate with production teams to monitor and follow up on in-process quality issues.
• Assist in final inspection activities, ensuring test reports are complete and submitted on time.
• Perform sample quality testing based on product and customer requirements (tensile strength, elongation, dimensions, electrical testing).
• Prepare and test cable samples for customer evaluation, approval, or certification.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and quality records.
• Assist in handling customer complaints and follow up on CAPA.
