Job summary

A leading company in sheet metal manufacturing is seeking a QA Manager (Manufacturing) for its facilities in Johor. In this full-time role, you will ensure the quality and integrity of manufacturing processes, oversee quality assurance activities, and guide continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on maintaining high quality standards and supporting teams in achieving excellence.

Qualifications

• 5 years practical experience in quality management in high-speed manufacturing.
• Experience in implementing LEAN manufacturing or Kaizen is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

About the role

As the QA Manager (Manufacturing) at Camwell Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our manufacturing processes. This full-time position is based in Tampoi, Johor, and you will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance activities within our production facility.

What you'll be doing

• Designs, develops, implements and improves quality assurance programs, product quality standards, and quality inspection plans, in collaboration with the Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain functions.
• Provides training, coaching and mentoring regarding product quality standards, quality plans and company Quality System.
• Performs periodic audit and documents results for certification (ISO / IATF) and external party compliance purposes (customer audit).
• Develops reports, files and other administrative paperwork in support of quality plans and systems.
• Monitors adherence to established quality standards, recommending changes as needed. Supports continuous process improvement initiatives
• Ensures the maintenance/revision of relevant documentation.
• Any ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by superior

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree in Quality/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years practical experience in quality management in high-speed manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standard and regulatory requirements
• Able to build team and motivates people to high level of commitment & excellence
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvement and drive change
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Competent in reading, understanding and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience in implementing LEAN manufacturing or Kaizen in shop floor would be an added advantage.
