Overview

We are a leading company in the Precision Engineering sector, specializing in the manufacture of high-precision components for industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Devices, etc. We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead our quality function and drive continuous improvement across all operations.

Role Overview

As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet internal, customer, and regulatory quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for high-quality precision components and involves oversight of our QMS, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO13485).
  • Manage internal, external, and supplier quality audits and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee in-process, final inspections, and first article approvals.
  • Lead root cause analysis, issue corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and drive quality improvements.
  • Monitor key quality metrics, analyze trends, and report to senior management.
  • Manage and develop the Quality Team, including Inspectors and Technicians.
  • Act as the primary liaison for customer and supplier quality issues.
  • Ensure calibration of measurement tools and maintenance of inspection equipment.
  • Promote a strong quality culture across the organization through training and leadership.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a Quality Management role within Precision Engineering or a related manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO13485, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, SPC).
  • Excellent understanding of GD&T, CMM, and metrology techniques.
  • Experience in leading audits and managing supplier quality.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
