Job description

Quality Strategy Development: Develops and implements a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives and ensures product/service quality and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Quality Management System: Oversee the maintenance and continue improvement of the quality management system (QMS), including the development of policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in the execution of their responsibilities.

Compliance and Certification: Ensure that the company remains compliant with industry-specific standards and regulations, such as ISO, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality standards, and lead efforts to achieve and maintain necessary certifications.

Quality Audits and Inspections: Plan and execute internal and external quality audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into quality issues, customer complaints, or non-conformities to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with the procurement and supplier management teams to ensure that suppliers meet quality and performance requirements, and establish a robust supplier quality program.

Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by initiating and overseeing Six Sigma projects and other quality improvement initiatives to enhance product/service quality and operational efficiency.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze quality data and performance metrics to provide insights for decision-making and prepare regular reports for management review.

Customer Focus: Maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring that the voice of the customer is integrated into quality processes and that customer feedback is used to drive quality improvements.

Training and Development: Identify training needs within the quality team and facilitate training and development programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate quality-related risks and develop risk management strategies to prevent potential quality issues.

Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline). A Master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience in quality management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Certification in quality management (ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of quality management standards and methodologies.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Excellent project management and data analysis capabilities.
