Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Penang is seeking a QA Inspector who will be responsible for quality inspection in the department. The role involves assisting in the preparation and management of quality-related documents, issuing quality forms, maintaining records, and supporting the Quality Manager. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic math, and computer skills, and be able to understand both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing quality procedures, work instructions, and quality forms.

Job description

The QA Inspector is responsible for quality inspection in the department.

What you will do:

• Assisting in the preparation of quality procedures, work instructions, and Quality forms – taking copies/filing/labeling/distributing to various departments
• Issuing Quality forms to the respective departments and removing old forms from the production floor
• Maintaining records of document changes
• Updating the master list of documents and list of Quality/Environmental records
• Assisting Quality Manager in maintaining Quality System records
• Performing the material movements in ERP system
• Assist with qualification for the engineers.

We are looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to understand basic Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Basic math and basic computer skills
• Able to follow instructions/new assignments from the Lead Operator/Line Leader
• Able to use basic measurement tools, i.e. calipers & micrometers
