- Quality planning – assist in establish quality plan and system for products manufactured and sold
- Quality control – assist inestablish system of maintaining standards in manufactured products by implementing the specification/requirement
- Quality assurance – assist inmaintain the desired level of quality in product, from the process of production to delivery.
- Quality improvement – assist in continually review and improve the product quality
- Quality compliance – assist in implement FSMS and ensure the food safety legislation and regulation is complied
- Food hygiene – assist in implement GMP and GHP to achieve higher level of hygiene
- Material quality control and sourcing – assist in establish supply chain system to control the correct ingredients/materials according to quality requirement.
- Investigate and resolve dispute on product quality/ Handle customer feedback and complaint
- Assist in review new product quality and artwork confirmation
- Assist in plan and execute external quality audit
- Assist in Establish and implement external lab tests program
- Conduct internal training include 5S, Basic hand washing, HACCP and FSSC 22000
- Conduct Internal audit for Food Safety Management System
- Train the QC Inspector to carry out routine Inspection
- Verify the effectiveness of CCP and CL for steaming time and freezer temperature.
- Handling requests and complaints by production workers.
- Assist in establishing and implementing pest control program.
- Assist in planning and setting up experiment as per requested by management
- Assist in designing and streamlining QA, production and stock keeping SOP and documents for production workers and review its effectiveness from time to time
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in food or biotechnology or other related disciple
- At least 1 year of QA management experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
- Experienced in managing cold chain.
- Literacy in Chinese, English and Malay
- Computer knowledgein Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Words, Power point
- Knowledge and competency in GMP, HACCP and FSSC 22000
- Knowledge in machineries operations
- Competent in local regulatory requirements
- Literacy in ERP system
- Strong leadership and with relevant managerial experience.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with personnel from different level.
- Must be able to work in Non-Halal and cold storage environment

Kim Man is a popular bun manufacturer, there are around 400 Kim Man stalls in Johor.
In 2001, Kim Man started in Taman Universiti, Johor Bahru. Kim Man is started from a small business in a shop. Both presidents, Mr. Ding and Mr.Yek work hard, started to prepare ingredients before dawn every day.
In 2002, it was a business turning year for Kim Man. The shop owner decided to sell the shop. So, in order to continue their business, Mr. Ding and Mr.Yek have to move their business to other shoplot. That night of moving business to other shoplot, Mr. Ding and Mr.Yek were discussing their future plan for Kim Man. After the discussion, both of them decided to have a wholesale package to those who are interested to do this business. After that, Kim Man stalls also keep increasing one by one.
In 2009, Kim Man has more than 180 stalls, therefore Kim Man was facing the shortage of products. Then, both presidents decided to move to factory in Shahbandar, Johor.
In 2012, both president invest the factory beside Kim Man for business expansion purposes.
