Job summary

A leading cable manufacturer based in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and oversee quality control processes. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have 1-2 years of relevant experience, along with strong analytical and communication skills. This role is pivotal in maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction as the company expands its market presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in QA/QC.
• Strong command in written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Member of Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and quality control measures.
• Conduct failure investigations and respond to customer complaints.
• Prepare reports on inspection progress and quality performance.

Job description

Responsible to follow company policies on quality and carry out Good Manufacturing Practices

Responsible to involve in ISO 9001 standard certification and audit

Initiate process improvements to established and implement quality plans, procedures and training programs to achieve required level of product quality, reliability with compliance to ISO 9001

Responsible to work with customer or third-party inspectors on all aspects of quality and safety issue and attend to customer concerns relating to quality of product and/or service including Factory Acceptance Test

Responsible to initiate failure investigation and responds to customer complaint on timely basis

Responsible to prepare the work instructions

Responsible to enforce quality control standards compliance with quality and specification

Responsible to accurately verify record tests and measurements in the QC Database

Responsible to prepare report on inspection progress and quality performance

Responsible to perform statistical analysis on product performance

Responsible to ensure testing equipment’s are in good condition and well maintained

Responsible to ensure testing equipment’s are calibrated and monitored

Responsible to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulation

Any other duties that may be given by the Management from time to time

Position Requirements

Possess a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a QA/QC area

Display politeness, friendliness and professionalism throughout the interaction with the customers

Strong command in written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Words application

Members of Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

Good analytical skill and hands-on technical problem-solving skills.

Willing to work in Kerteh, Terengganu
