Job description

Job Details:

  • Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance activities of raw materials, in process, and finished products.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of an effective food safety and quality management system in compliance with relevant standards and customers’ requirements.
  • Involved in supplier assessment and supplier audit program.
  • Ensure materials meet Tyson Foods Malaysia’s standards before accepting them for production use.
  • Monitor daily production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform verification to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards
  • Address food safety and quality issues and collaborate with the production/ maintenance/ sanitation team to implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure finished goods are meeting Tyson Foods Malaysia’s standards before releasing to markets or customers.
  • Conduct an internal audit and plant review to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in root cause investigation for non-conformities and customer complaints, and thereby develop adequate procedures to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist in various programs' implementation, including but not limited to FSQ Culture, pest control, allergen management, etc.

Qualification/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science Field or any related field.
  • Preferably candidates with work experience in the FMCG industry; however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
