Setel is seeking a proactive CS/Software Engineering student or recent graduate for a QA/testing internship in Malaysia. You will review requirements, craft manual test cases, estimate testing effort, and run feature and regression tests on mobile and web clients as well as backend services, reporting defects to developers and collaborating with engineers and product leads.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 4 months of internship period that starts in October/November.
Some knowledge with mobile applications, web applications, and REST APIs.
Understanding of software SDLC, tools, and processes.
Interest with testing and finding defects.
Understanding of an Agile/Scrum development process.
Prior experience, coursework or hands-on project on AI/ML is a plus.
Detail-oriented and meticulous.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

Review requirements, specifications, and design documents.
Create manual test cases, checklists and other types of test documentation.
Estimate the required testing time for each user story.
Perform feature and regression tests on mobile/web clients and backend services.
Report the defect to the developer.
Collaborate with, and provide status updates to, SW Engineers and Product Leads.
Monitor application performance.
