QA Engineer [Electronics]

Job Title: QA Engineer

We are currently seeking a QA Engineer for a leading Electronics Manufacturing Industry company with over 20 years of legacy worldwide. This position requires your urgent attention.

Location and Reporting

• Based in Johor
• Reporting to: General Manager
• Work 5 days a week

Responsibilities

1. Monitor the production line and prepare monthly quality reports, tracking product orders, material/process changes, and addressing abnormalities.
2. Lead the development and implementation of production line SIP and quality management processes.
3. Analyze SPC data to drive improvements and enhance product quality and reliability.
4. Coordinate quality issue reviews, develop corrective actions, and ensure effective implementation and tracking of improvements.
5. Perform final quality inspections, verifying product details before shipment.
6. Oversee PQA and QC team structure, training, and performance evaluations.
7. Establish and improve workshop process controls, resolving abnormalities.
8. Manage calibration of measuring instruments and ensure regular updates.
9. Host customer site visits to build product trust.
10. Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, or Management.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in testing, with a strong understanding of testing processes, specifications, software testing methods, and common testing tools.
• Familiar with QC tools (7 QC Tools), MSA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and basic principles of IATF 16949.
• Well-versed in 5S management, EHS systems, QEH management, and skilled in statistical techniques such as DOE, Six Sigma, and GB.
• Candidates from Electronics Manufacturing Industry are preferred; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
