Job summary

Keypath Education Asia-Pacific is seeking a QA Engineer - Data to ensure the quality, integrity and reliability of data that drives decisions across our APAC education business. You will test data solutions and dashboards, validate transformations, and collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts and Product teams in a modern cloud data environment.

You’ll develop automated testing, improve data governance, and help deliver scalable data initiatives while partnering with stakeholders to embed best

Qualifications

• Experience in Data QA, Data Engineering, Software Testing or a related technical field.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to validate, analyse and troubleshoot data with confidence.
• Experience testing data pipelines, data warehouses, reporting solutions or analytics platforms.
• Exposure to automated testing, scripting or programming languages such as Python.
• Strong understanding of data quality principles and a passion for accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

At Keypath, we’re looking for a QA Engineer - Data to join our growing APAC Data team. In this role, you’ll help ensure the quality, integrity and reliability of the data that drives decisions across our business and supports universities around the world in delivering life-changing education.

Working alongside Data Engineers, Analysts and business stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in testing and validating data solutions, improving automation, and helping build a culture where quality is embedded in everything we do. What You’ll Be Doing

• Champion data quality across our platforms, pipelines and reporting solutions, ensuring stakeholders can make decisions with confidence.
• Test and validate data transformations, integrations and data products to ensure accuracy, completeness and reliability.
• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions that improve efficiency and support the scalable delivery of data initiatives.
• Partner closely with Data Engineers, Analysts and Product teams to define quality standards and embed best practice throughout the development lifecycle.
• Investigate data issues, identify root causes and work collaboratively to implement sustainable solutions.
• Validate dashboards, reports and analytics products to ensure consistency and trust in business insights.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA frameworks, testing practices and data governance standards.
• Help shape the future of quality engineering within a modern cloud-based data environment.

About You

You’re naturally curious, detail-oriented and passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes. You enjoy digging into complex datasets, uncovering issues before they become problems, and collaborating with others to drive continuous improvement.

You’ll bring:

• Experience in Data QA, Data Engineering, Software Testing or a related technical field.
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to validate, analyse and troubleshoot data with confidence.
• Experience testing data pipelines, data warehouses, reporting solutions or analytics platforms.
• Exposure to automated testing, scripting or programming languages such as Python.
• A strong understanding of data quality principles and a genuine passion for accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset, growth mentality and eagerness to learn new technologies and approaches.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or similar technologies will be highly regarded.
