Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a QA Engineer to support development and execution of quality control programs. You will translate customer specs into product and process criteria, and create control plans to meet requirements across manufacturing plants, customer sites, and supplier facilities.

You will collaborate with production, suppliers, and inspectors to drive CIP initiatives, monitor KPIs, and implement effective root-cause actions to close gaps to targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Experience in quality control department.
• Understanding of product / process flow.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production to plan and execute inbound and production checks.
• Manage relations with customers or third party inspectors.
• Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events.
• Monitor KPIs and drive root cause corrective actions to meet targets.
• Manage customer witness inspections.
• Maintain and analyze data to report on state of process or product quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve QC issues.
• Provide documentation per QAP to customers and close queries.
