We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to lead and enhance our quality processes across photonic integration, wafer-level testing, and semiconductor packaging. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optoelectronics or semiconductor QA. You will play a key role in ensuring product reliability, yield optimization, and compliance with international standards for our next-generation photonic devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive QA strategy across the product development lifecycle — from wafer fabrication to final photonic module assembly.
- Define and implement comprehensive test plans, reliability protocols, and failure analysis methodologies.
- Interface with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to define quality metrics and critical-to-quality parameters.
- Collaborate closely with external foundries, OSATs, and contract manufacturers to monitor and improve incoming and outgoing quality performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) for product and process deviations.
- Establish and maintain quality documentation, including FMEA, control plans, SPC charts, and audit reports.
- Oversee customer audits and ensure compliance with ISO, JEDEC, IPC, RoHS/REACH, and related standards.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA or reliability engineering, with a focus on semiconductor, photonics, or optoelectronic devices.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor failure mechanisms, environmental/reliability testing, and statistical quality tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
- Hands-on experience with quality systems, audits, and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
