Job summary

A leading company specializing in designing process heating systems seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer. You will establish and maintain the quality management system, conduct ISO audits, and ensure compliance with regulations in the oil & gas industry. This role requires experience in quality assurance practices and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an ISO 9000 or ISO 9001:2015 QMS environment.
• Possess knowledge of oil & gas and offshore industry regulations.
• Working knowledge of international codes (ASME, ANSI, ASTM, etc.).

• Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system (QMS).

• Plan and conduct ISO internal audits related to QMS, customer requirements, and quality improvement projects.

• Work with internal departments and suppliers to develop effective corrective actions related to customer complaints and correspond with customers in a timely manner.

• Develop inspection methods and conduct training for personnel needing the skills and knowledge to perform quality inspections.

• Work with PIC department on the assessment and qualification of suppliers and subcontractors. Manage suppliers’ performance with regular monitoring and audits of their production.

• Lead analysis of causes of quality problems and the timely implementation of corrective/preventive actions for improvement.

• Carry out analysis of QA reports and make appropriate recommendations or decisions as deemed fit.

• Interface with Engineering, Sales, PIC, and Operations on manufacturing processes for new products and lead their qualification in relation to quality.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an ISO 9000 or ISO 9001:2015 QMS environment.

• Possess knowledge of rules and regulations of oil & gas and offshore industry such as ATEX, IECEx, and Ex Hazardous Area Equipment safety requirements.

• Working knowledge of international codes (ASME, ANSI, ASTM, IEC, ISO, etc.).
