About the role

We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our team at GETTOP TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Tampoi Johor. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

What you'll be doing

1. Monitor production lines and prepare monthly quality reports, including tracking initial production orders, verifying product conformity, and ensuring the internal implementation of changes to products, materials, and processes.
2. Participate in MRB (Material Review Board) meetings and manage material non-conformities identified during production.
3. Develop and implement systems for Standard Inspection Procedures (SIP) and ensure alignment with the overall Quality Management System (QMS).
4. Utilize SPC (Statistical Process Control) and other analytical tools to monitor process data, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support key product reliability testing and enhancement efforts.
5. Lead the investigation and resolution of quality issues by developing corrective actions, conducting product audits, identifying root causes of defects, and verifying the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
6. Supervise final inspections of finished products, including checks on product appearance, batch numbers, and coding, to ensure compliance with quality standards before release.
7. Organize and define roles and responsibilities within the Product Quality Assurance (PQA) and Quality Control (QC) teams, including personnel training and performance assessments.
8. Establish, review, and improve process control procedures within the production workshop, and address any process-related anomalies.
9. Oversee the calibration management of measurement instruments, ensuring timely and accurate calibration in accordance with schedule requirements.
10. Host and guide customer visits to the production site, effectively communicating product quality assurance to build customer confidence.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing; familiar with testing processes, specifications, and commonly used testing tools.
3. Sound knowledge of electronics and basic mechanical principles; familiarity with TWS (True Wireless Stereo), automotive, and consumer electronics industry standards.
4. Proficient in quality management tools and methodologies, including the QC Seven Tools, MSA (Measurement System Analysis), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and IATF 16949.
5. Knowledge of 5S workplace organization, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) systems, QEH (Quality, Environment, and Health) management systems.
6. Strong statistical analysis skills; familiarity with DOE (Design of Experiments), Six Sigma, and GB (Guobiao – Chinese National Standards).
7. Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
