As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality digital solutions across the fintech industry. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining robust test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, and Java

Our client is a SAAS dedicated to supporting the stock trading industry with cutting-edge solutions. Their work enables clients to build robust trading systems that perform at scale and meet the demands of real-time financial markets

Description

• Designing and implementing test automation frameworks, while also maintaining existing automated test suites used across the Agile team.
• Creating and updating functional, system, and integration test cases, along with essential testing artifacts such as test data, documentation, and automated scripts throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyzing functional requirements to identify necessary data for comprehensive test coverage, starting from writing manual test cases to automating them for regression purposes.
• Executing both manual and automated test scenarios to verify functionality and code quality, and documenting test outcomes in alignment with formal testing processes and architecture.
• Taking full ownership of assigned tasks with a proactive approach to managing them from start to finish.
• Exploring new tools, trends, and testing methodologies to continuously improve current testing processes and systems.
• Leading testing efforts within project streams, working closely with Product Managers and Developers, while fostering collaboration across different teams.
• Providing mentorship to peers by sharing knowledge of testing strategies, automation practices, coding standards, and conducting code reviews and test plan designs.
• Collaborating effectively with global team members across various locations and time zones.
• Applying creativity and strategic thinking to solve complex challenges and contribute to high-impact projects, driven by a strong commitment to quality.

Profile

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with web testing tools and frameworks like Selenium/WebDriver, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Strong expertise in testing web services and APIs.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of software quality assurance principles and practices.
• Experience with continuous integration and code review processes is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a proven ability to work well within a team.
